APRIL EVENTS!!

April is right around the corner and we have a few things planned for it!!  Details below.

Cornholio - Weds, April 13th at 7pm.

Our continuing cornhole tournament for our members and guests.  Join us on April 13th at 7 pm for a game of Switcholio.  It's delayed a week due to Spring Break.  It's a blind draw round robin in which players get a  new partner for every game.  Expect to play a few matches and to meet new people.  Signup and donate $5 for Moose charities before the event (with bartender I guess). Same day signups at the event are welcome too.

Easter Egg Hunt -Sat, April 16th. from 5:15pm to 6:15pm. 

It's the day BEFORE Easter and before Mars Rodeo plays in the Banquet Hall.  Should be enough time for parents to take the kids back home and come back before the music starts (Hence the "weird" time.)   Please bring your own baskets.  We will break up the hunt to younger kids go first and then older kids.  We'll also have a local celebrity, the Easter Bunny, at the event.  He was in the news a couple of years ago.  Check it out below.

Mars Rodeo - Sat,  April 16th from 7pm to 10pm

$15 AYCE Taco and Nacho bar.  Please pay (and get a bracelet) before eating.  Thank you.    Band will be in the Banquet Hall.  It's going to be hopping!! Check out their song list at their website below.

St. Paddy's Day 2022 Report

So I think we can safely say this was one of the best events the Vienna Moose has had in a long time.   The turn out was amazing!! That isn't to say we didn't have a few missteps but appreciate all the members that came and I hope they understood.  We had no idea the turnout would be so huge. In future events we'll make sure to make an excess of food so we don't run out as quickly as we did.  We plan to be doing more of these family friendly events in the future!!  We learn from each one of them.

A huge shout out to Chris T. and Steve T. for helping out as much as they did.  We can't forget to thank our Chef, Earl, and well as our bartenders Betty and Stacie!  And of course a big thank you to The Maple School of Irish Dance for their amazing dance show and lesson!! I'm just going to post a few pictures and I think they speak for themselves.

We got some more details about our three March events last night as well as a new running special so wanted to share them all.  Get ready.

Kids' Mondays

Starting 3/14 (next week) on Monday's Kids' meals will be HALF off but only for kids 12 and under.  We will slowly be adding color books, kid activities, and games.  So bring the family in.  It's dine in only.  No take out for the special.

But here's the menu!!

$20 for all you can buffet including the following:

• BABY BACK SPARE RIBS!!
• BBQ CHICKEN
• Hot Dogs
• Potato Salad
• Baked Beans
• Corn on the cob

As always kids 12 and under are 1/2 price

We will also have a beer pitcher special.

Why are the prices not listed? Well we are not allowed to mention them because of VA ABC rule.  But it will be a great deal.

So come on out and have a pitcher and listen to Lesson Five.

Now for St. Patrick's Day on actual St. Patrick's Day, Thurs March 17

First we have some drink special for all beers from 4pm-5pm and then an incremental increase from 5pm-6pm with prices going back to normal at 6pm.

The specials are for single beers.  They do not apply to buckets and you can only order more when you are done with beer.  No stockpiling.  Sorry!

Same deal here the prices are not listed because we are not allowed to mention them because of same VA ABC rule.  If you want to know ask around and maybe you'll be able to find someone who knows.

It's like finding the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.  I don't think it will be half as hard as as you think to find what they are for 4pm-5pm.

Earl will have a Irish Menu that day.  Here's what he's planning (subject to change) and prices have not been determined yet.

• Corned Beef
• Cabbage
• Potato
• Soda Bread
• Guinness Stew so good it rivals any special secret family recipe.

We plan to have a few Irish Beers in addition to Guinness available as well.

Dancers from The Maple Academy of Irish Dance will be performing at 7:30 with an interactive show for donations downstairs in the Banquet Hall too.  So bring the family to see a wonderful show and join in as well.

So for anyone who was there, you know that Chris Devine acoustic was a success.  Thank you Chris for your music. 

Of course we have to thank Andrew, Bruce, and Scott for working the wedding downstairs that night as well.  So many things happening at the Moose. 

Don't forget we have the Lesson Zero Band in the banquet call from 7-10pm on March 12th!!!  Thank you Activities Committee.

Valentine's Dinner.  On Valentine's Day.  So novel.  So chic.  So what?  Well, we got a great menu.

Moose will be hosting a Valentine's Dinner on Mon, Feb 14th. Will need to preorder only. But you need to preorder due to supply chain issues. Let the bartender know by COB Weds (2/9/22).

Two Menu options. 

Surf and Turf for $30 per person Filet Mignon Petite Lobster Tail Shrimp Strawberries and melted chocolate,  Salad Dinner Rolls Rum Cake.

Sunday, February 13 is Super Bowl LVI. 

SUNDAY BRUNCH will be cancelled that day to focus on the Super Bowl.

Also the SQ will close at 4, when everyone needs to move done to the Hall for the party.

We are having a Super Bowl Party.  But not just any Super Bowl party, a big screen Super Bowl Party, we hope!!

ALL YOU CAN EAT!!

Advanced Tix $20.  $25 at the door.  Kids 7-12 are 1/2 price.  Kids 6 and under are free.   Tix are being sold by the bartender!!

HAND PAINTED SWINGERS

Just a quick update to make sure everyone knows that Hand Painted Swingers is playing tonight (Sat, 1/15/22) from 7-10pm.

We'll have a All You Can Eat Taco Bar for $13 during that time.

Also Regular bar menu starts at 4pm.

SUNDAY BRUNCH, it's BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And then tomorrow (Sun, 1/16/22) our All You Can Eat Brunch starts up again.

On the menu for Brunch for $13.

Sausage, Bacon, Eggs to order (Fried, scrambled, over, and omelets), cheese grits, toast, pancakes, and biscuits with gravy.

BREAKING NEWS!! The Vienna Moose Lodge and the expert cooks of 29 Diner have joined forces!! Starting the last week in January, John Wood and Earl Green of 29 Diner will run our kitchen and offer outstanding meal selections every day of the week (closed Tuesday). This includes restarting our Sunday breakfasts every Sunday! Please look out for details and menus shortly. This is truly an amazing opportunity for us both!

Dear Members,

As the president and for the entire board of officers of the lodge, we would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas.  With that, the lodge will be closed for the staff to spend time with family on Friday and Saturday, December 24 and 25, 2021.  We will open again on Sunday, December 26, 2021, with our normal operating hours.

We want to also thank each and every member this year for all their help in moving our lodge forward.  We are looking for more great things this coming year!

We have so much going on at the Lodge on Saturday Dec 11th.  Here's the rundown bulleted list style.

• 4:30pm to 6:00pm - Photos with Santa.  Bring your own camera.  It's free but donations are appreciated.  This is open to the public!!
  • Gift from Santa for children 12 and under too!
  • But anyone can take a photo with Santa.
• 6:15pm to 6:30pm-ish - Lighting of the Big Moose Christmas Tree out front.  Again open to the public!!
• After the Tree Lighting (6:30/7:00pm) - The Moose Holiday Part begins.  Only open to members and their guests.   Tickets are required!! More info on the Holiday Party below.

Holiday Moose Party (after the Tree Lighting Ceremony, around 6:30-7:00pm).

• Live Music with Deja Blue!!
• Dinner Buffet with Ham, Meatballs, Rice, Green Beans, and Brownies

All members are invited to our Thanksgiving at the lodge.  Our wonderful staff wants to work this day and cook for our membership.  So, on Thursday, November 25, 2021, we will be serving Thanksgiving with all the trimmings.  So, if you need a place to get away from the family come join your other family here at the lodge from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
