Bringing the Vienna, Virginia community together since 1958 with great events, solid friendships, and a shared mission to lift others up.
Who We Are
We are the Vienna Moose Lodge—a dynamic community of more than 700 local men and women dedicated to celebrating fellowship and lifting up our neighbors. Installed as a proud chapter of Moose International on December 2, 1958, we carry forward a rich fraternal legacy. Today, we are part of a global fraternity nearly 1.4 million members strong.
At the heart of the Moose organization is a simple but powerful belief: “A burden heavy to one is borne lightly by many.” This guiding truth is what makes us unique in our lodges, local communities, and the charitable “cities” we support. Our roots trace back to 1888, when our founder, Dr. Henry Wilson, successfully established the first Moose lodge in Louisville, Kentucky.
We believe in honoring our traditions while building a modern, inclusive space where the next generation of families, leaders, and friends can connect and collaborate. We advocate passionately for children, support our honored seniors, and stand up for our Vienna town—big and small.
Founded in 1913, this 1,000-acre “child city” near Chicago provides a safe, nurturing home and high-quality education for children in need from infancy through high school.
Established in 1922, the “City of Contentment” in Orange Park, FL, offers Moose members and spouses a secure, active, and enjoyable retirement experience along the St. Johns River.
We support our local town in ways big and small. From sponsoring youth sports to running charity fundraisers, we step up for our Vienna neighbors.
